101st Assembly of the Croatian Shippers Association Mare Nostrum

Atlantska plovidba d.d. was the host of the 101st Assembly of the Croatian Shippers Association Mare Nostrum on May 20, 2021. At the meeting in Dubrovnik, the participants of the Assembly discussed the situation on the shipping market, current common problems of shipowners such as vaccination of seafarers and double taxation. The possibilities of financing projects in green infrastructure and the potential for decarbonisation of the maritime sector by 2030 were also discussed. The necessity of more intensive vaccination of seafarers as a vulnerable group was especially emphasized. Future joint action has been agreed in order to intensify cooperation and protect the common interests of Croatian shipping companies.
